NaSoAlMo
--------------

Everything I've done for the `National Solo Album Month <https://nasoalmo.org/>`_, a challenge where you have to make one solo album in the month of November (quite the same as the `NaNoWriMo <https://nanowrimo.org/>`_ but for music).

2022's edition
''''''''''''''''''''''''''

A sole track, `Slide Eighties Moments <../_static/music/nasoalmo/2022/slide_eighties_moments.ogg>`_ (`source <../_static/music/nasoalmo/2022/slide_eighties_moments.zip>`_). It was done with `LMMS <https://lmms.io/>`_ as a DAW with no external synthesizer, some external effects (reverb and delay) and two soundfonts (bass and drums).

It was done quickly, not really satisfied with it but at list it's done. It was also a way to discover LMMS.

RPM Challenge
------------------------------

Everything I've done for the `RPM Challenge <https://www.rpmchallenge.com/>`_, a challenge where you have to record original music during the month of February. Close to NaSoAlMo but solo is not mandatory and several variations available for duration/number of tracks.

2024's edition
''''''''''''''''''''''''''

The "Single" track version, `Next Try <../_static/music/rpm/2024/Next_Try.mp3>`_. It was done mostly with Ardour and Guitarix plugins.

Done quickly, lots of bad things rhythmically on the 2nd part but it's done under time constraints. My Goal was to use guitars while discovering existing virtual amp setups which took time.

REM Challenge

Everything I've done for the `REM Challenge <https://www.rpmchallenge.com/remchallenge>`_, the monthly version of the RPM challenge where you have to record an original track during the month.

2025/01
''''''''''''''''''''''''''

The track `Sazareishi <../_static/music/rem/2025_01_REM_Sazareishi.mp3>`_.

Done mostly with Ardour and Yoshimi synth. The goal was to use only Yoshimi as synth with existing preset. Except for the kit, everything is satisfying to me.
The transitions between parts aren't really good as I use 3 times the same trick. I appreciate the part individually but they could be improved and extended.
